 Petar Markovic

Short biography

  • Born 1974. B.Sc. 1997 (University of Novi Sad). Ph.D. 2003 (Vanderbilt University). 

  • Full Professor since 2015. 

  • His research interests are in universal algebra and its applications to constraint satisfaction problems, lattice theory, and combinatorics. 

 

Teaching

 

Currently (2017/18), he teaches the courses Universal Algebra and Rings, Fields and Galois Theory, both at the Master level of  studies and Linear Algebra at the Bachelor level (all three for students of Pure Mathematics).
