Biography Born 1951. B.Sc. 1974. M.Sc. 1978. Ph.D. 1982. Full Professor since 1992. Director of the Institute of Mathematics 1985-1989, 1991-1993. He has taught courses in Real Analysis, Multivariate Analysis, Complex Analysis, Functional Analysis, Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Modeling and Simulation. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA (USA) during the school year 1989/90. Study stays: Kiel (Germany) in 1979, London and Leicester (England) in 1985, Bordeaux and Paris (France) in 1986, Richmond, VA (USA) in 1992. Research His mathematical interests are in generalized functions, integral transformations, wavelet theory and their applications to PDEs. He is author or co-author of 55 scientific papers, 2 monographs and 8 textbooks. He has given 12 invited lectures. He is a member of AMS, a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews, and has refereed papers for several international and Serbian journals.
